GUARDIAN VISIBILITY

Guardian Visibility (GV) is a new way to provide security and monitoring for your loads. We help you make more money and reduce claims. Because a trusted partner has nominated you to join the Carrier Preferred program, we know you're the real deal. You have been recognized as one of the best in the industry and someone to trust. Congratulations!

What do I get out of Guardian Visibility?

Get Preferred Access to Premium Loads Preferred access to top-tier loads, starting with Allen Lund and focused on Costco and other major retailers. You’ll be a go-to carrier when sponsored loads become available. Earn More & Avoid Compliance Issues For the first time, you’ll own your tracking data and earn a share of monitoring fees. Right now, you’ll receive 7.5% of the fees we collect for tracking and monitoring each sponsored load. Free Access to Your Own Monitoring Platform If you are one of the first 500 installations, then for the first 12-months you get free access to your own private monitoring platform. Way more than just GPS, track your trailers, see real-time temps, shock, humidity, and monitor security with real-time location and door-open alerts.

What will all this cost me?

Nothing, Nada, Zip… If you are one of the first 500 trailers to be installed. You are being sponsored by your nominating partner broker – Allen Lund.  They believe in you and are covering the cost of your hardware and your first 12-months of private monitoring access. The current cost would typically be $250 for the hardware and $10 monthly for the private monitoring solution per trailer.

Why would a shipper or receiver want to be part of this program?

That's easy, they save money on tracking fees, have access to better data, and qualify for a ig upgrade on your corporate ESG score!

How does this gear get installed in my trailer?

What do you mean by “Sponsored Loads”?

Allen Lund routinely puts a temperature monitoring device on perishable and high-value loads, and someone, usually the Shipper or the Receiver, pays for this service. For example, Costco requires monitoring of inbound and inter-facility transfers. Many major growers/packers/shippers make the same request. When these parties agree to use Guardian Visibility data instead of disposable devices, they save money and get better data. These loads are what we call sponsored premium loads.

What do you mean by “preferred access to premium loads”?

As sponsored loads become available, you will be at the front of the line as a member of the Carrier Preferred program. Your brokers will factor in your status, and you will receive priority on securing these loads. When freight gets tight, you can keep more loads on the road. It’s good for the shipper, it’s good for your broker, and most importantly, it’s good for you.

Will this protect me on a claim?

Yes! This is the same technology Tive has used on over two million trackers and hundreds of thousands of loads here in the USA. With two independent temperature measurements, one at the return air location and one at the rear of the trailer, you have better data than if you were to pull a reefer download.

Is this better than a disposable temp recorder?

Absolutely! How many times has the temperature logger not been turned on or gone “missing” when you hit a DC? And somehow, that always turns into your problem? That is a thing of the past since you are running with Guardian Visibility. It’s always there.  It’s always on. You can always get a copy of your trip data – for free!

Do I still need the ALC app?

Kind of, let me explain. We track and monitor what’s inside the trailer, not the driver's movements. You will not be tracked by the ALC app if you are in the Carrier Preferred program. That being said, you will likely want to use certain features in the ALC app or CW app, such as obtaining a dock door assignment or if you're going to “Launch a load”, making it easier for you to keep track of when and where you picked up and/or delivered a load.
